The Herron Arch I
The Herron Arch I is located in the Indiana University- Purdue University Indianapolis campus. This sculpture was done by James Willie Faust who is an alumnus of Herron. Furthermore, it is 20 feet high filled with colorful designs on aluminum. The sculpture was part of the displays for the public grand opening of the HerronSchool of At and Design. Soldiers and Sailors Monument showcases military equipment and artifacts and so much more in a 30,000 square foot museum. The museum is home to the Americal Legion National Headquarters. This is the largest organization for veterans in the world, Moreover, they commemorate ad preserve the history of the sacrifice of the United States Armed Forces. This is also to honor the Hoosier veterans and the role of Indiana when the nation is in conflicts. Furthermore, there are 25 acres of monuments and statues across the area.
