“This is a rough area of Indianapolis for gas stations. There’s a Phillips 66 at Washington and Arlington I frequent. The clientele is often rough. The crew who works there does a good job but what can they control. Just down the road is Circle K . It’s an old facility and there’s a rental motel next door. We need them but Thornton’s is the best near 465 on Washington on the east side. Better people, better experience. Skip issues and stop here. I’d love to lie and paint the area better. Bad side of Irvington. But I’ve had no ill experience at Thornton’s. I’ve got a ton to say on that but it’s on a soap box.” – Nathan G.

“Outside of being in a super busy spot on Keystone, GetGo is a huge upgrade for this BP/Rickers gas station. You can order food online for pickup, or use their kiosk to order from their kitchen. They’re currently running a $4.99 7″ sub deal, which was perfect for the Contractors at my house! If you enroll in their rewards program, you can save .10c / gal for a limited time. Lines can get long, but they usually have two registers open.” – Jennifer S.

“This store has really done a lot as far as adding better machines and keeping their store very clean. I wish some of these other rinky dink hole-in-the-wall stations would follow suit.” – Cristy McTarsney

“There’s not a whole lot to say about a Speedway Gas Station. This is a typical one. Not a fancy schmancy one with a Cafe in it. Those are my favorites, but this one is in Beech Grove and is usually cheaper than the ones in Indy. We filled up due to the crazy frozen tundra expected on Monday.” – Karen P.
