Ground Zero Nightclub is a dance nightclub situated in Northeast Minneapolis at 15 SE 4th Street. Every Saturday from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m., as well as on Fridays for special occasions, they are open. James Ballentine “Uptown” VFW Post 246 is a Veteran charitable organization located in a recently renovated mid-century building. The old ballroom is now a nightclub and music venue with 440 seating capacity. Within the same structure, they have three bars and a restaurant.
The karaoke bar has been highlighted on Esquire TV’s Best Bars of America and hasn’t undergone any significant renovations since it opened in the 1950s. They provide local, national, and international performances, of all genres, seven nights a week.
