James Ballentine “Uptown” VFW Post 246 is a Veteran charitable organization located in a recently renovated mid-century building. The old ballroom is now a nightclub and music venue with 440 seating capacity. Within the same structure, they have three bars and a restaurant.
The karaoke bar has been highlighted on Esquire TV’s Best Bars of America and hasn’t undergone any significant renovations since it opened in the 1950s.
