Service Bar DCPubs in Washington

Service Bar DC has become known for its renowned cocktails, mouth-watering fried chicken, and low-key atmosphere and it was established by Chad Spangler and Glendon Hartley in 2016. The traditional cocktail bar was often a tranquil, formal, and expensive experience years ago, and Service Bar has always strived to counter that standard. It has swaggered a $7 cocktail menu, live music, and a welcoming seat for anyone in the neighborhood. The cocktail menu switches with the seasons or with whatever motivates them at the time one thing is for sure though, there’s always something new and exciting to try. Service Bar serves typical American food with an emphasis on local ingredients. Even though the menu has grown and developed eventually, fried chicken has remained the signature dish.

REVIEWS:

“This is a lively location with a thoughtful cocktail menu and a small-ish but mighty food menu. The drinks are well made and presented in fun ways with appropriate drinkware. The food is very good, some items outstanding even. I suggest the charred carrots as a must-have. But what really makes this location are the friendly and engaging staff members. It seems like everyone from servers to kitchen staff all take pride in their part of the work and seem to enjoy sharing that with patrons. Service like that is what keeps me coming back!” – Lavender K.

The Public OptionTop Pubs in Washington

The Public Option started out as a brewpub. And they plan to continue that tradition by producing a selection of top-quality beers on site. But they will broaden the draft beer oblations to include other domestically brewed beers and some national favorites. At this point, they are not serving food on a regular basis. They have really enjoyed doing pop-ups with some outstanding local chefs and will continue to do so. Please check out their “Events” section for upcoming guest chefs. As their food program evolves, they don’t have any objection to folks bringing or ordering in food. They have also had the enjoyment of hosting a number of very talented artists in their upstairs space. They have some more shows in the works.
