“Lia VillaresThese pics by Javier Caso took place two years ago in this emblematic place with Porno Para Ricardo Cuban punk band performing for the very firs time. I really enjoy playing music here and the public was really good. Miss the place with so much nostalgia. I also was told many important rock and roll figures pass by several times. Love the name too.” – Lia Villares

Bar Nancy

Bar NancyBar Nancy offers you more than just food and drinks. The goal was to create a fantastic neighborhood pub. Nancy’s no-nonsense attitude to hospitality embodies Revolutionary Zeal. Passengers exit to the Courtyard to relax and unwind in a zen tiki environment. The port hole that presently connects visitors to Nancy’s back patio and The Courtyard was once part of a decent sailing vessel. Nancy is as passionate about live music as she is about cocktails.

The Sylvester

The SylvesterThe Sylvester started with humble beginnings. Ben Potts and Brian Nasajon, Florida natives and proprietors of Beaker and Gray, designed a concept that symbolizes who they are. They brought cutting-edge cocktails, culturally-influenced dishes, and a nostalgic ambiance to Midtown Miami using locally sourced and sustainable ingredients to pay homage to old and modern Miami. Food, drinks, games, music, and Abuela’s furniture make the Sylvester the perfect spot to be stranded in a hurricane.

“One of my favorite bars in all of Miami. Cocktails are perfectly crafted and service is amazing! Ambiance never disappoints with plenty of seating, especially at the bar. They also have one of the best happy hours in town. Beat the clock, $5 select drinks from 4-5, $6 from 5-6, etc, until 8pm. There’s also a pool table. Definitely a great spot for cocktails after work, date, or even hang out with a group of people!” – Vinicius Pranckevicius

“My husband and I were in Miami for the weekend and went to The Batch Gastropub because of it’s great rating and it was in the neighborhood of our hotel. It happened to be Halloween weekend but the service and food was fantastic! We would definitely go back again. We had the Duck pot stickers and Buffalo chicken nachos to start. He had the Kale and Quinoa salad and I had the brisket and short rib burger with all the extras, that bacon is incredible! The drinks are on point too. They make EVERYTHING in house, all scratch. If you have a chance you have to go!” – Danette Bertulli

Lost Boy

Lost BoyLost Boy is one Miami’s go-to spots. In a Colorado miner’s saloon, they mixed their passion for a good English pub with the vibe of an old Captain’s bar. The cocktails are simple classics, the draught beer taps are cool, and the sandwiches are made to order. In the mornings, there’s football, in the afternoons, there’s Happy Hour, and at night, there’s no nonsense lingering about. You’re in good hands for the rest of those minutes that always seem to fly by; their mermaids are waiting for you.

“Came here twice during my four day stay and had an excellent experience both times. Ordered the pretzel and Chicago dog – both hot and flavorful. Had drinks both times and the bartenders were knowledgeable and efficient. They have a great liquor and cocktail selection, but only a few taps. Prices were fair considering the area. They have a few outdoor tables and it seemed like a really cool place for happy hour and people watching.” – Morgan Long
