“Oakland zoo is a lovely place to visit with your kids, family, and friends, or even on your own! It’s therapeutic and educational. Reservation for entry is needed. The Gondola ride is Free with paid admission. Car parking is $10. The gondola is fun and provides a spectacular view of the bay both during the day and the night! The zoo has creative events sometimes such as the Glowfari, which features hundreds of larger-than-life glowing animal lanterns throughout the Zoo. They will return in November, and can’t wait to try the mini express train inside the park to explore the illuminated wonderland!”

Oakland California Temple
Oakland California Temple is a temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in the hills of Oakland, California. As part of a project launched by church president David O. McKay, it was constructed in the early 1960s. The temple is a well-known landmark with a five-spire East Asian architectural style, the main spire of which is capped with a Buddhist emblem resembling the San Francisco Peace Pagoda.
In addition to a visitors center, the temple complex has a park with fountains that are regularly used in picture shoots because it provides sweeping views of the San Francisco Bay Area.
