Tulsa Zoo
Tulsa Zoo is a nonprofit zoo that is situated in the American city of Tulsa, Oklahoma. Gilcrease Museum is among the top resources in the nation for the preservation and research of American art and history. A museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma, also known as the Thomas Gilcrease Institute of American History and Art, houses the largest and most complete collection of Western art in the world in addition to a developing collection of works of art and antiquities from Central and South America.
Gilcrease Museum has been run by a public-private partnership between the City of Tulsa and the University of Tulsa since July 1, 2008. A safe archival space was added to Gilcrease Museum in 2014 at a cost of $14 million by building the Helmerich Center for American Research.

Golden Driller Statue
Golden Driller Statue is a statue of an oil worker that may be found in Tulsa, Oklahoma. A steel frame coated in concrete and plaster makes up the building. Since 1966, it has been in front of the Tulsa Expo Center and is the sixth-tallest statue in the country. The Mid-Continent Supply Company of Fort Worth first constructed the Golden Driller in 1952 as a temporary addition to the International Petroleum Exposition.
The statue’s right hand is resting on an oil derrick that was relocated from a Seminole, Oklahoma, oil field that had run out of reserves. The Golden Driller, a representation of the International Petroleum Exposition, is identified and inscribed at the base of the monument.

Philbrook Museum of Art is a large formal garden attached to an art museum in Tulsa, Oklahoma. The 1939-opened museum is housed in the “Villa Philbrook,” a historic 1920s villa that once served as the residence of Oklahoma oil pioneer Waite Phillips and his wife Genevieve. The cornerstone collection, which features nine collections of artwork from around the globe and spans a variety of artistic media and genres, is focused on Native American art and includes basketry, ceramics, paintings, and jewelry.
