Lorenzi Park
Lorenzi Park was the vision of David G. Lorenzi, a French immigrant who bought 80 acres of property around two miles west of the first townsite in 1912. The park started as Lorenzi’s Lake Park in 1926 with a dance pavilion, pool, lakes, and gardens. It is recorded on the city’s Historic Property Register as a historic region and on the Nevada State Register of Historic places. The center of attention of this park is twin lakes with fishing, which needs a license from the Nevada Department of Wildlife. It is also a superb place to design your special event.

“Cool park. It’s got a small lake in it. No swimming allowed. Fishing is allowed with a fishing license. There’s a lot of ducks and geese. Plenty of grass areas to play and plenty of trees as well. Barbeque areas are standard. There is a water pad playground area to play in but it is currently closed for fixing.” – M R.
Centennial Hills Park
Centennial Hills Park is a 120-acre modern regional park that features a playground with inclines and characteristics for all abilities. It is also built around a historic reversed riverbed thought to be the last remaining remnant of a great network of such channels that before wrapped this area.
It is also a great location to have a celebration party or particular event. It has a jogging/walking path with expository signage explaining the historical significance of the area and an amphitheater with grass seats for more than 3,000.

Rainbow Family Park
Rainbow Family Park is a 26-acre park that proudly shows baseball and soccer fields, which can be reserved. It is a fine park to plot a special occasion. Rainbow Family Park has a great deal of open space. You can host a pleasing picnic or possibly take a stroll along the walking paths to testify the beautiful scenic views which include an agreeable stretch of grassland and comprehensive baseball fields. “Liked this park a lot. My wife went speed walking around there trail around the park while I chilled out on the grass with our 2 dogs. People around seemed really cool & there was plenty of space to be left alone. You can do so much there & It was clean. I didn’t like that when the sun went down there was no lights there so it got really dark fast. Maybe they’re on a timer I don’t know. But everything else was great.” – Rat B.
Bruce Trent Park
Bruce Trent Park was called after the original Las Vegas parks superintendent, the park honors Bruce Trent’s passion for sports and exercises with a particular fitness course. A weekly farmer’s market occurs each Wednesday from 2-8 p.m. It is also a fantastic spot to celebrate or to simply have a special event. It has a mass of free area.
