Dr. Davis grew up in Atlanta, Georgia and later attended Rice University, where she received her degree in biology. Upon receiving her bachelor’s degree she returned to Georgia to attend medical school at the Medical College of Georgia where she received her MD in 2003. Continuing with her certifications, Dr. Davis completed her Pediatric Residency at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital at Vanderbilt University in Tennessee.
Additionally, she completed a one year Pediatric Emergency Medicine Fellowship at Vanderbilt Children’s Hospital followed by a 2 year fellowship in Child Abuse Pediatrics at Rady Children’s Hospital.

Jamie grew up in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and completed her undergraduate and medical school training at Harvard and Penn State before moving to San Diego in 2003 for her pediatrics residency training, serving as chief resident at Rady Children’s Hospital. She has been practicing pediatrics in San Diego ever since, with extensive experience in the emergency room and the inpatient wards at Rady’s.
