Dr. David Wichnoski has lived in Charlotte for most of his life. He attended local schools and received his B.S. degree in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and his Doctor of Optometry from the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. After graduating from the Southern College of Optometry, Dr. Wichnoski performed residency training at WJB Dorn Veterans Hospital in Columbia, SC.
This was a multidisciplinary method to eye care which exposed him to many other areas of medicine and has prepared him well to become your primary care eye doctor. After completing his residency training in 1997, Dr. Wichnoski started Spectrum Eye Care the same year. Dr. Megan Price Osborne joined Spectrum Eye Care in 2008. She received her Doctorate in Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry (now Salus University) and was selected to pursue a residency specializing in ocular disease at Seidenberg-Protzko Eye Associates, in Bel Air, Maryland. She is originally from Maryland but moved to North Carolina shortly after completing her residency. Dr. Osborne’s training and experience have developed her well for the challenges of primary eye care and the use of technology in the diagnosis and management of eye disease.

Dr. Amir Khoshnevis finished his B.S. in Biology at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and graduated his Doctor of Optometry at Pennsylvania College of Optometry. He founded Vision Source Studio 20/20 with two locations in Charlotte, NC. He has been a Vision Source Administrator since 2003 and has served as an Advisory Board member and Senior Advisor to the company.

“Had a friend go to Dr. Khoshnevis first and after hearing about her experience there, I had to give him a try. Upon arrival I was initially greeted by his head of office, Jin, she was super nice and made me feel right at home. Dr. Khoshnevis came out, greeted me as well, and put me with one of the nurses to go through the various test. Once all the tests were done, I met back with Dr. Khoshnevis, he went through all the results with me and thanks to him having some of the latest equipment, we went with a more accurate prescription, he explained it to be more precise than the normal ones you get out there. From there, I met with the optician Jennifer and she helped me pick a new frame. The entire experience was amazing, I was treated like royalty by everyone! literally, the mind is blown!
