Mark Zuckerberg’s security chief accused of several serious allegations

The CEO of Facebook, Mark Zuckerberg, is embroiled in another scandal; however, this case runs a little closer to home. Zuckerberg’s personal security chief has been accused with making a series of racist and homophobic remarks, along with sexual misconduct, largely directed at Zuckerberg’s wife, Priscilla Chan.

Liam Booth is a former Secret Service Office and is now employed as Zuckerberg’s personal security chief. However, since the emergence of the allegations, Booth has been placed on leave while the investigation takes place. Ben LaBolt, a representative from the Chan Zuckerberg family office confirmed the developments, whereas Booth has not been reached or contacted for a comment at this stage.

The allegations against Booth were brought forward by several former members of Zuckerberg’s household staff. The Bloom Firm, a law agency in California, has been handling the matter. The former employees that put forth the allegations reached out to The Bloom Firm via letters outlining the issue and Booth’s conduct. The specifics of Booth’s conduct or what he supposedly said has not been made public.

Munger, Tolles & Olson, an external legal firm, have subsequently been hired by Facebook representatives to investigate and determine the accuracy of the former employees claims. At this stage, the investigation is ongoing and is being treated as a very serious matter by everyone involved.
