Dr. Allan Wachter was born in New York City and attended Mount Sinai School of Medicine in Manhattan. He also did his Internal Medicine residency at Lenox Hill Hospital in Manhattan. He attended the University of Pennsylvania for his Allergy & Immunology training. He received multiple awards during his Fellowship for his research in molecular biology.
Dr. Wachter has practiced in Arizona for over 25 years. He is Board Certified in Allergy & Immunology a Conjoint Board of Internal Medicine and Pediatrics and re-certified in 2001 and 2011. He has been named a “Phoenix Top Doctor” multiple times. He graduated from Arizona State University with a B.S. in Microbiology, then obtained both MD and PhD degrees from the University of Arizona School of Medicine in Tucson. His PhD is in Molecular Biology with research in immunology. He completed his Internal Medicine Residency in the Good Samaritan/Phoenix VA Integrated Internal Medicine Residency Program, then completed his Subspecialty/Fellowship training in Allergy and Immunology at Stanford University School of Medicine.
