Our venue was an admittedly very tricky and inconvenient one to get to, and we were asking them to go to Amelia Island and drop folks at bars and various hotels. “This place is great and a must-stop when visiting Jacksonville. They rescue and home many big cats, like a white tiger. They also have a bear and a few other animals. I recommend going closer to 2 because that’s feeding time, and they are more active at this time. It’s a self-guided tour.
The sanctuary has lots of shading and seating. It has a baby animal area for the smaller cats and animals with a staff member who talks more about the animals. We all enjoyed it. The staff is around to answer questions and very knowledgeable.
