Terry’s Toffee is hand-crafted, family-owned, elevated ingredients. After a recipe handed down from Terry’s Grandmother McCall, they make handicraft toffee with the best ingredients they can source from their partners around the world. They have broadened the family recipe to incorporate imaginative toffee flavors, as well as pairings with biscotti, ice cream, and popcorn. From their family-managed brick and mortar shop in Chicago, they are dedicated to making every batch by hand, with all-natural ingredients and no additives.

“Great toffee! Especially the dark chocolate version and peppermint. The shakes are excellent especially the choc chunk! Mm. Always able to find street parking too very near by. Great selection of gift wrapping choices too.” – Rob F.
Chocolat Uzma opened in June 2012 in the Pilsen art district. The concept was to produce a small artisan chocolate and confection shop, with a nod to those in France and Spain. They insert their French culinary practice with their South Asian legacy by creating chocolates such as hazelnut coriander praline, Indian chili caramel, and many others.
Details are an essential part of the shop, so each and every part of the process is significant. They use the highest quality ingredients and chocolate including single-origin chocolates from Chana, Mexico, and Tanzania. They take great care of their creations, beginning with high-quality sustainable chocolate and fresh ingredients that are sourced with care.

“OMG! Love this place! Please go support them especially if you love love chocolate!” – Honey B.
Katherine Anne Confections
Katherine Anne Confections is devoted to using equitable trade cacao, and operate with local farmers for their Jersey cream, Midwest fruits, honey, and seasonal ingredients. They don’t utilize anything that your grandmother wouldn’t, no artificial flavors and no corn syrup. Their truffles are lovingly rolled and dipped by hand. There you’ll find extra-delicious truffles of all sorts. Classic truffles include Lemon Poppyseed and Toasted Coconut Rum. Inventive and stimulating flavors like Peanut Butter Coconut Curry or Goat Cheese Walnut offer a chance to taste something new.
Their caramels are created with native wildflower honey and organic agave nectar instead of corn syrup. The outcome is floral, soft, and silky caramels that transform everyone into aficionados. Popular flavors include Rosemary Sea Salt and Chocolate Walnut. Their mushy soft marshmallows are made with local wildflower honey rather than corn syrup, and a touch of sea salt. They are perfect toasted for s’mores, melted in their incredible drinking chocolate, or right out of the bag.

“Love love love this place!! So worth it! Their hot chocolate is soooo rich. Sadly, we can’t sit in their very small cafe during the covid pandemic – I miss the ceramic cups, the flowers on the table, and just sitting and enjoying their yummy concoctions. They’ve got recommendations for little ones as well as for more sophisticated tastes. They have 2 sizes and the small is enough for most people. I always share the regular size, Mexican hot chocolate – it’s a bit spicy. If you want to try a few flavors, they have a “flight” of 3 tiny hot chocolates. We’ve also tried their marshmallows: cinnamon, salted caramel, and rose (on different occasions) and I thought they were all delicious!” – Rebecca R.
Vosges Haut Chocolat
Vosges Haut Chocolat channel the power of the tale to open minds, spirits, and palates through chocolate, inspiring them all to cooperate with the world in a more loving way. They search to create harmony, creativity, and motivation through the exploration of the alchemic balance between the soul that seeks happiness and the spirit that wants to rule the world.
They are on a perpetual quest for ingredients at the summit of their taste profile, making it their mission to carefully select the finest ingredients Mother Nature and their farmer and artisan partners have to offer. Their goal as alchemical, experiential chocolate makers is to balance the mind, body, and spirit, honoring them as a system, with wellness being the optimal outcome of that system being in harmony, physically, psychologically, and spiritually.
