Stormy Tattoo
Stormy Tattoo is owned and managed by the tattoo artist Stormy. In 2001, Stormy started a career as a tattoo artist. In Lincoln, Nebraska, at Big O Tattoo, he began his career as a tattoo artist. He later relocated to Kansas City, Missouri, where he started working for Irezumi Body Art, a Big O tattoo subsidiary. He received recognition and an award from KC Magazine for KC’s Best Tattoo Artist in 2007 and 2008.
After 11 years of working in one of Kansas City’s busiest tattoo parlors, Stormy decided to venture out on his own and pursue a different artistic path. He established the private, by appointment only Tattoos by Stormy in 2012. Stormy specializes in cover-up work and creative, unique tattoo designs. He does not object to any particular aesthetic, and his work includes black-and-white, portraiture, Asian, and conventional American styles. All of his tattoos are open to interpretation, just like any artist who creates unique art and designs.

Two friends’ idea to provide high-caliber tattoos in an opulent, vintage environment unmatched in Kansas City gave rise to Goodfellas Tattoo Gallery. When the first tattoo parlor in the Tower East Neighborhood, Goodfellas Tattoo Gallery, opened its doors in 2017, this desire became a reality.
