When schools are closed due to inclement weather, the Mary T. Ralph Wright Natatorium
Ralph Wright Natatorium offers an eight-lane, 50-meter contest pool. The depth of the pool stated ranges from 4 feet 6 inches to 18 feet. The pool may be separated into two 25-meter or 25-yard competition-ready portions thanks to movable bulkheads. Two 1-meter safeguards diving boards, two 3-meter safeguards diving boards, and a tower with 5-, 7.5-, and 10-meter diving platforms can be found in the pool’s diving end.
The Natatorium is not only a venue for men’s and women’s swimming and diving, but it is also intended for usage by the University of Louisville student body for recreation, exercise, and instruction.
