Blue Water Seafood Market & GrillBlue Water Seafood Market & Grill

Blue Water Seafood Market & Grill‘s menu is how they share those experiences with you. Every day they initiate with the freshest fish they can get, and cautiously prepare it to enhance its flavor. Every plate, every sandwich, every fish taco is a manifestation of fresh and local. Whenever possible, they buy local fish directly from the fishermen who catch them or they catch them themselves. They grew up in and on the water.

Surfing, boating, diving, and fishing the beachfront and blue water of San Diego and Baja California. They still do. Fresh native seafood has always been a share of the experience. Fish tacos on the pier in Ensenada, where they were made up. Ahi sashimi in the kitchenette on the boat trip home, sliced from that morning’s tuna catch. White Sea Bass dragged from the Baja surf and grilled on the position over a mesquite campfire.

Mitch’s SeafoodMitch's Seafood

Mitch’s Seafood created in 2008 by three families with a long history of fishing in the Point Loma area of San Diego, particularly in fresh seafood from the waters off San Diego. They are situated on San Diego’s working waterfront with a view of the fishing fleet, and they focus on simply prepared, California-style seafood and craft beer & wine from San Diego and California.

Their seafood comes almost solely from the waters off San Diego and Northern Baja. Most of their fish are either caught by them or by fishermen that they know. Additionally, as fishermen, management of the ocean is exceptionally important to them. At Mitch’s Seafood, they apply only ecologically caught seafood, and work with a number of groups to ensure a clean and vibrant future for their beaches and oceans.

Their preference towards local food doesn’t stop with their seafood. They offer homebrew from many of San Diego’s famous breweries and wine from family vineyards throughout California. They utilize many nearby farms as well for their produce, organic chicken, and grass-fed beef.
