The Raleigh School

The Montessori School of Raleigh
The Montessori School of Raleigh is the oldest fully accredited Montessori school in the Triangle and the only independent school that provides the International Baccalaureate Diploma Program. The Montessori School of Raleigh, which opened its doors in 1974, educates children from the age of 15 months to the age of 12, supporting them on their way to becoming self-aware, critical thinkers.

Jeffreys Grove Magnet
Jeffreys Grove Magnet is a dynamic school where all students, teachers, and families work together to develop, empower, and value one another. Joyner Elementary
Joyner Elementary is one of the few schools in the country with a dual-magnet focus. In addition to being an International Baccalaureate school, they are also a Spanish Language Center. Magnet Schools of America has awarded Joyner Elementary a Magnet School of Excellence Award for the 2019-2020 school year. Each year, only a small number of magnet schools get this distinction, which recognizes them for their outstanding performance in all aspects of the merit-award application.
Learning in the IB Primary Years Program focuses on the full child’s development, both in the classroom and in the real world. A strong emphasis on inquiry-based learning underpins it since it is characterized by six transdisciplinary topics of global significance that are investigated utilizing knowledge and skills gathered from six subject areas.

Poe Magnet Elementary
Poe Magnet Elementary is a small GT/AIG basics school just outside of Raleigh. They are able to create a close-knit family setting where each kid forms excellent relationships with caring adults since they have just about 400 students. Its objective is to inspire and create confident learners who are ready to take on the challenges of the future, guided by its core values. They welcome visitors to view the school and serve children from all across Wake County.
