“Oakridge has been a great school for our children. We have a Sophomore and a Seventh Grader who have both been at Oakridge since their First Grade year, and they love it! Oakridge is a diverse community of families and educators who all want the best for their children. I love the emphasis on balance that Oakridge stresses to its students and families (Academics, Arts and Athletics). Our family values Spiritual Development as well, and while Oakridge is not a Faith-based school, it does welcome and embrace the right of students and families to be who they are and respect what they believe. I would recommend Oakridge to anyone.” – Charles P.

“ACA is a great school. The staff and volunteers go above and beyond to engage the kids in thinking and thinking outside the box. My daughter has gotten the best education here at ACA and I couldn’t be happier. She enjoys going to school each day and comes home with so much enthusiasm to learn and do better.” – Bridget C.
Northstar School was established by a limited group of parents devoted to providing unique, robust, cutting-edge educational surroundings. They unlocked their doors in 2006 and passed the first senior class in 2011. Those primary students together with family and friends changed a home into a school. Rooms were modified to produce new classrooms. The outdoor space was adjusted to incorporate gardens for the students, and an outdoor kitchen for the culinary classes, in addition to facilities for a strong 4H program.
Academics, Fine Arts, Rocketry, Music Lessons, Athletics, & More
“Great school. Talented, energetic teachers and administrators who have created an atmosphere conducive to learning and personal growth for each student. Very small teacher-student ratio so all students receive individual attention and instruction. The curriculum includes field trips, travel, foreign language immersion, fine arts, STEM, and extracurricular activities too numerous to mention. We couldn’t be more pleased to be part of the Northstar family. Highly recommend this school.” – Lori C.
