Pullen Park
Pullen Park is a public park located west of Raleigh, North Carolina’s city center. North Carolina’s oldest public park is Pullen Park, which dates back to 1887. Together with many modest rides like the Pullen Park Carousel, train, and kiddie boats, the park offers picnic spots, a concession store, and kiddie boats.
Seasonal rentals of pedal boats are also offered on the park’s little lake. On the grounds of the park are also the Pullen Aquatic Center, Pullen Arts Center, and Theatre in the Park. Marbles Kids Museum
Marbles Kids Museum is a charitable children’s museum that may be found in the Moore Square Historic District in the heart of Raleigh, North Carolina. Exploris, an interactive global learning center, and Playspace, a children’s museum geared toward preschoolers through early elementary-age children, merged to form Marbles in 2007. The goal of Marbles is to inspire play-based learning, exploration, and creativity.
The five main efforts of Marbles Ready Set Learn, Be Healthy, Be Active, Create Innovate, Explore Experiment, and Connect are all supported by a number of their permanent, play-based installations. A 45-minute documentary film and first-run Hollywood pictures are shown in the IMAX theater at Marbles.

JC Raulston Arboretum
JC Raulston Arboretum is an internationally renowned garden that houses one of the Southeast’s largest and most varied collections of landscape plants. North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences is the largest institution of its sort in the Southeast. It is situated in Raleigh and is North Carolina’s longest-running museum. The Nature Exploration Center and Nature Research Center on Jones Street in downtown Raleigh, the Prairie Ridge Ecostation satellite facility and outdoor classroom in Northwest Raleigh close to William B. Umstead State Park, the former North Carolina Museum of Forestry in Whiteville, and the former Grifton Nature & Science Center in Grifton are just a few of the museum’s six locations spread across five campuses.
The North Carolina Museum of Natural Sciences at Greenville, which was announced in 2020, was opened to the public on September 18, 2021. The state Department of Natural and Cultural Resources houses NCMNS.
