Develop Design Do It, Betty Goertzen, the founder of Develop Design Do It, began her business career at the age of sixteen when she won her first design award in a Tulare County 4H dress designing and sewing event. Modeling lessons and a spot in Bates Fabrics’ Spring Fashion Show in Los Angeles were the prizes from Bates Fabrics. She was then offered a career as a cashier and window designer at the Dinuba JC Penny shop.
