Jim Linneman, the bar’s owner, and carpenter friend Jim Gable set out to restore the bar’s 1902 charm, which had been lost over the years due to earlier renovation attempts. The end result successfully restored the historic tavern’s turn-of-the-century charm, which had been disguised by “modernization.” When “new” goods are added to the club, every effort is taken to maintain the old world charm.
