Crisis Pregnancy Outreach
Crisis Pregnancy Outreach provides compassionate, meaningful support to women experiencing an unplanned pregnancy. They support unborn and newborn babies, helping their mothers parent or placing them with loving families. They had a heart for babies, and for the women facing a crisis pregnancy. Marilyn Guthmann, Dr. Howard Guthmann, and Cheryl Bauman prepared a proposal for the Christian Chapel board and pastor Richard Exley.
The plan was concurrently approved and in March of 1983, Crisis Pregnancy Outreach was born. Within two weeks, they ministered to their first woman in crisis. Today, thousands of women and their babies have received their assistance. The ministry has developed to include counseling services, medical partners, mentoring, parenting support, a fully licensed adoption agency and so much more. They’re honored and blessed that God has selected to use CPO to impact so many lives.
