Shuharikan Dojo
Shuharikan Dojo, Three black belts in Yoshinkan Aikido, Gordon Shumaker, Glen Giacoletto, and Jon Sharratt, founded the Metro Dojo in 1995. They trained and instructed at a YMCA. The Yoshinkan Honbu officially recognized their dojo as the Shuharikan on January 15, 1997. The Shuharikan is dedicated to providing men, women, and children with Yoshinkan-style Aikido education.
It is a non-profit organization run totally by volunteers. The goal of the Shuharikan is to provide a welcoming, non-threatening, and comfortable environment for people of all skills and backgrounds in the dojo.
