Vincent’s Italian Cuisine

Vincent’s Italian Cuisine was founded by native New Orleanian Vincent Catalanotto in 1989. Vincent’s parents, who are both excellent cooks, fed him delicious meals when he was growing up. Early in his youth, Vincent developed a love and appreciation for food, and he later spent most of his career in the service sector. In 1989, he founded the first of his popular neighborhood eateries.

Vincent created a menu that highlights the best and most recent ingredients on hand. He combined his own thoughts about Italian cooking in the New Orleans style with some techniques he picked up while working at upscale restaurants all across the city. Because of the good food and reasonable prices, as well as the welcoming atmosphere Vincent and his carefully chosen employees produced, locals frequented the restaurant.

REVIEWS:

“Awesome Italian place. We got the baked crab claws (a special), and the Artichoke Vincent to start, of which we enjoyed both. For entrees, we had the veal and pork chops, both were specials. The meats were tender and well cooked. The pork chop could have used more seasoning but had a wonderful texture. Can’t wait to go back for Shrimp Alfredo!” – Chris T.

Arabella Casa Di Pasta

Arabella Casa Di Pasta was founded by Amanda & Mowgli Pierlas in February 2014 as a small pop-up in the back of a wine bar. The concept was straightforward freshly produced pasta, a few mouthwatering sauces, and lean proteins that could be added to any dish. Food has always been the main attraction. Convincing the public that clean eating doesn’t need sticking to salads and a bowl of raw veggies has been the true issue.  At Arabella Casa Di Pasta, you’ll find delicious food, fine wine, specialty drinks, and a laid-back atmosphere that will make you feel right at home.

“Liuzza’s is one of my favorite New Orleans restaurants. It’s hard to beat the frenchaletta but if you’re in the mood for something else, anything with roast beef, spaghetti with red sauce, or red beans and rice. Be sure to get mustard greens on the side and an ice-cold draft beer in a frosted glass.” – Brandon B.

Pascal’s Manale

Pascal’s Manale is a New Orleans tradition since 1913. For its famed BBQ Shrimp, raw oyster bar, and classic Italian fare, Pascal’s Manale is well-known. Manale serves all these New Orleans specialties for dinner Monday through Saturday. Monday through Friday, Manale’s is also open for lunch and offers a BBQ Shrimp po’boy, which is produced by poking a hole at the end of a French loaf and filling it with peeled shrimp and that irresistible sauce. They are a melting pot from the beginning of their Crescent City, and Pascal’s Manale’s menu reflects this. A fusion of Creole Italian delicacies that both tourists and locals adore.
