Maggiano’s Little Italy started at its first location on the corners of Grand Avenue and Clark Street. The crockery was authentic classics, simple, many of them enticed out of Italian grandmothers, mothers, and aunts whose concepts of cooking instructions were a pinch of this and a sprinkle of that. The restaurant was prosperous from the very start.
