Memento PDX, which is ‘Greg’s’ for sixteen years, was taken over by Miranda Levin and Brian Boshart in 2010. Both had functioned for Greg Klaus for many years, but Miranda was the first employee, buyer, and right-hand man to Greg for over seven years.
With Greg’s death in January of 2010, Miranda and Brian purchased the shop and affectionately called it Memento PDX, which implies memory in Latin. “It was the primary word I contemplation of because it comprises so much; the buying of a gift is a memento and the reminder of a very good friend.
