He’s always kind and professional, and unlike most people, he answers both texts and emails. When we told Eric we didn’t want to use fertilizer or pesticides on our new lawn, he suggested a pasture grass called Bahia. It’s not as lush or flat as St. Augustine, and it doesn’t spread out, but it’s very hardy, grows quickly, and actually is a bit less expensive, which was a nice bonus. We strongly recommend you consider Eric for your lawn and gardening projects.”

Tampa Heights Community Garden was established in 2011 as a program of the Tampa Heights Junior Civic Association, this community garden is part of the Tampa Heights Neighborhood Plan and describes the vision of a neighborhood where all live in a safe, healthy, imaginative community of caring people. Tampa Garden Club began working with the Tampa Heights Junior Civic Association in 2010.
The Tampa Heights Community Garden has twice been named the best garden in Florida and tied for the best garden in the South with more than 300 residents have been part of the garden. This facility will serve families who reside in and around the northwest and northeast quadrants of the neighborhood, offering Pre-K educational and after-school programs, a community garden, nutrition/cooking classes, a fitness program, and a smoothie bar as an entrepreneur project for the teens. The goal is to grow a strong, safe and healthy community.
