REVIEWS:

“I’ve lived in Denver for years and have loved whiskey for much longer. I’m still unsure why it took me so long to visit Leopold Bros. From the knowledgeable staff and the friendly atmosphere, to the fantastic spirits, this place is an excellent experience. The taster flight is definitely recommended unless you’re just going for the AMAZING Three Chambers Rye.” – Joseph Risner

Downslope Distilling

Downslope DistillingDownslope Distilling was founded in 2009 on the belief that intriguing and sophisticated spirits might be made on a small scale by dedicated individuals. They don’t cut corners because of their love for the craft. They start with basic materials and work their way up to a final bottled product. The pride they feel in the finished product fuels their desire to improve the following batch even more. It’s a small batch, and Spirits are made by hand.

“Wonderful time at Downslope! Employees are super passionate and friendly, but more importantly- their alcohol is amazing! I tasted their whiskey, tequila, gin, and vodka and had NO HANGOVER! You can tell everything is made in house, and is super quality. Don’t skip a chance to check out Downslope!” – Lauren Carrillo

Branch & Barrel Distilling

Branch & Barrel DistillingBranch & Barrel Distilling is prepared with a bourbon mixture that includes a lot of corn and barley. Their maize comes from Northeastern Colorado, and our water comes from Eldorado Springs, CO, resulting in a sweet body with malty overtones. The finished high wines are matured in Char #3 new white oak barrels, which impart caramel and vanilla aromas to Branch & Barrel whiskey. The result is a superb whiskey with a distinct Colorado flavor. They proudly continue on that heritage with our bourbon whiskey, employing the same distillation method that their founding fathers utilized when America was but a glimmer in their eyes.

“Talk about an undiscovered gem! Branch and brewing has amazing whiskey and bourbon. If you love either, you owe to yourself to stop by and check out this place. We stopped by on a Saturday for a free tasting and tour of the distillery, all Colorado ingredients and processing. We’ll be back for sure and have added their bourbon to our list of bottles for regular purchase.” – Victor Rachael

Dry Dock Brewing Co

Dry Dock Brewing CoDry Dock Brewing Co was Aurora’s first craft brewery, opening its doors in 2005. It was the outcome of a community that grew out of The Brew Hut, a homebrew shop and sister company. The Brew Hut opened in 1995, and that was the start of it all. Kevin DeLange and Michelle Reding, co-owners of the little homebrew business, increased the “experimental” beer batches by drilling a hole in the wall and converting the recently vacated premises next door into a 900 square foot microbrewery! Dry Dock Brewing Co. began as a seven-barrel brewery with a tasting area for homebrewers to enjoy.
