Temblor Brewing Company
Temblor Brewing Company is an award-winning craft brewery as well as a venue for events and concerts. Temblor is a poster child for hometown pride, from the bricks to the beer names. The Brick Founder’s Club was inspired by Bakersfield Brewing Company, one of the city’s first breweries. The brewpub features a display of bricks from the historic Bakersfield brewery following the 1952 Kern County earthquake, etched with the names of its local brick founders. Furthermore, their headliner beers are influenced by their Bakersfield background, with names that any Bakersfield native will recognize.
Temblor Brewing Company, located in the center of the Golden Empire, was formed in 2015 as a locally owned microbrewery, brewpub, theater, and comedy club. This 20,000-square-foot facility is committed to high-quality craft beer and food, as well as Bakersfield’s most exciting weekly events. Temblor, located on Buck Owens Boulevard right off the 99, is a popular California tourist destination. Its award-winning beers are distributed and supplied throughout California. They are happy to call Bakersfield’s streets their home.
Craft Brewery, Events, and Concerts
“Second time here this year, service is on point, brewers are friendly and willing to explain what they are making and the process if you interested. Great selection of beer as well as home maid root beer. Everything We’ve tried has been tasty, pulled pork sandwiches, fish & chips, and the Fried Artichoke Hearts are delicious. If you are driving through or a local Temblor is a good choice for a cold beer and good food.” – Mike J.
2nd Phase Brewing
2nd Phase Brewing is happy to deliver experimentally influenced beers made locally. They spent the majority of their professional life as biologists or chemists, and they have always enjoyed the art of experimentation and the excitement of creating something new. They also enjoy craft beer and have been brewing their own for many years. The establishment of 2nd Phase Brewing combines their two hobbies and represents the beginning of the second phase of my working life. Beginning in early 2019, 2nd Phase Brewing will be dedicated to producing original and distinctively local beers that challenge standard brewing styles and categories.
They’re delighted to offer their customers a rotating assortment of craft beers as well as fan favorites. Every day, they are motivated by its basic values: providing great flavors; valuing customers; enjoying beer culture, and continual innovation to provide an ever-changing assortment of uniquely local brews.

“I loved this place. Great beer first of all and plenty of choices depending on your particular tastes. The layout was also great with plenty of seating and nice style to make you feel comfortable. Having the taco truck out back was a great benefit too, I hope it’s there often. I especially loved the board games and corn hole makes it more fun to stay and hang out longer. Plus the board games were a great selection, I will definitely go back just for that and hope the selection grows.” – Jordan L.
Crusader Brewing is the fourth brewery to open in the Bakersfield brewing sector in Southwest Bakersfield. Crusader Brewing believes in the wisdom of tradition. Beers and Taproom
“Definitely a gem in my opinion. Never heard of it until about a year ago and was surprised there was a whole brewery tucked away in this business center. Once I did start going I really liked the atmosphere and all the extra space in the back. The beers are pretty cool and I’ve tried some before that I never heard of. Some days can get busy but most of the time when I visit it seems pretty slow or quiet. It’s a good change from the typical breweries like Lengthwise but maintains its own charm and uniqueness.” – Anthony B.
