Doner Bros
Doner Bros began in the Fall of 2015, when their founders Alex Politsch and Steven Banks went to Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany. They originally scheduled to eat German food, engulf themselves in Bavarian culture, and most significantly, relish great beer. On the first night of their trip they halted for a snack, they never anticipated their world to be turned upside down. They had uncovered the World Famous Doner Kebab and it was love at first bite.
After their return to the States, Alex found a new career selling wine in DC, and Steven continued his career in sales. Each day lingered by until one morning while Alex and Steven chatted before work, Alex mentioned that he was just about ready to take the leap of faith and open his dream “stir-fry” food truck. Steven fulfilled that this might be his last shot to change fate so he quickly reminded Alex of their love affair with that sumptuous, sizzling, stack of spiced meat and blurted out.
