With two busy shops drawing increasing respect and critical acclaim from the industry, Kings Avenue’s family of artists expanded rapidly. More than a dozen resident artists and a rotation of sought-after guests like Tim Hendricks, Horitomo, and Henning Jorgensen have worked individually with clients from New York and all over the globe, catapulting Kings Avenue into the top tier of tattoo studios.

“I will not go to any other person. I have gotten many piercings from him. He will take care of you and make sure you comfortable with the whole piercing process. He’ll always let you see the placement of piercing to make sure it’s in a place you’re happy with. Overall, he makes the environment and experience very enjoyable (as enjoyable as can be).” –

“I really recommend this place! I found it online, got my attention for having good reviews!
My tattoo artist was Bo, he was really patient with me. When I came for my appointment, he showed me sketch, I didnt like it, cause it was on ipad and sketch was raw, I freaked out, and I asked for final picture. Like I said Bo was very patient with me, and made new sketch with pencil. I love it! The whole process was pleasant! I will come back definitely! Thank you Bo” -Bojana Tomic

Fineline Tattoo

https://www.instagram.com/p/BwP7tcBl0Lr/

Fineline Tattoo – Born in the midst of the underground atmosphere of New York City’s ban on tattooing (which existed from the early 1960s until the late 1990s), Fineline Tattoo NYC worked to establish itself from 1976 on as one of the very few underground / illegal / appointment-only tattoo parlors that offered professionalism in artistry, craftsmanship, and hygiene.

Fineline was originally operated out of a private loft, on the infamous Bowery in the heart of the East Village, until 1997 when the city finally lifted the 30 year ban on tattooing. Fineline Tattoo NYC was relocated to the First Avenue storefront where it continues to thrive to this day. Gone is the paranoia and stigma of operating an illegal business, but still intact is the friendly atmosphere and professionalism that the legions of loyal customers have come to expect from Fineline over the years.

“I received an amazing service in store. The artist is super kind and friendly. I walked in with a rough design and didn’t even know what I’m going to do, the artist kindly redesigned it over and over again for me because I wasn’t satisfied with my own idea. I kept changing the design and he’s very patient with me. The artist even asked me if I want some cookies lol, this place is so nice and warm I’ll definitely come back in future.”
