“My absolute favorite special occasion restaurant in Arizona. We came here for my birthday and I got my usual, Seared Tenderloin with Butter Poached Lobster Tails. Saying it’s amazing, is an understatement. The steak is always cooked perfectly and it’s so soft and flavorful. Since COVID started back in March, I’ve been very hesitant to go anywhere. This was a huge treat for us to be out in a restaurant. I was extremely pleased to see that Capital Grille was actually following guidelines and not seating people close to each other. Service was spectacular as always!” – Merilee
Bobby-Q BBQ Restaurant & Steakhouse
Bobby-Q BBQ Restaurant & Steakhouse opened in 2005 at the former site of Bobby McGee’s, offering an apex of barbeque favorites. Furthermore to his comprehensive barbecue research mixed with his culinary ability, the secret behind Bobby Q’s barbeque lies within the slow cooking process over Almond and Mesquite wood match with the superb blend of spices discovered in the special dry rub for the meat, as executed by barbeque master, Executive Chef Mark Hittle.
This outcome in delicious hand-pulled pork, smoky sausage links, fork-tender brisket, and ribs that fall right off the bone. Bobby Q is positive to offer barbecue cost unlike any other. The appetizer will stimulate your appetite and the desserts will satiate your sweet-tooth cravings, but the barbecue is the showstopper.

“What a great find. The BBQ here is worth the trip. You get hot cornbread to start. We shared (and they split it on 2 plates for us) a 3 meat plate. Brisket pulled pork and St Louis ribs. Meat fell off the bone. At the end, you get hot mini donuts. Everything was amazing. Kevin our server was great. Thank you for such a good experience!” – Linda A.
