“This is a really good Thrift shop. My roommate in Philly brought me here to go thrifting, and I found a bunch of cheap vinyl records to upcycle. I’m an artist and a big-time crafter and paint on them. Got a bunch for 99 cents. My roommate and I are planning on decorating the walls with records, and since I just got my Cricut. I’m going to create a wall of vintage airline logos, and stick them on the LP albums.” – Michael F.

“I love Career Wardrobe and everything they stand for – bettering the community by helping unemployed women to find jobs and look the part. Donating is easy, especially at The Wardrobe Boutique location on Spring Garden. The building is located on the corner and there is a sizeable loading zone on 19th Street where you can pull up to unload. The boutique itself is cute and well-organized, and the women who work at this location are always so friendly. Tax forms are also available if you need/want them. Great community service!” – Michelle C.

“Love this store !! Hit or miss as is with any thrift store. Scored big today with a stack of baseboards. Lots of furniture, none to my taste but lots all the same. Doors, windows, paint, kitchen cabinets, fab place to hunt for home improvement goodies. Helpful staff, we had trouble transporting 16′ lengths, so they were cut down to 4′ lengths.” – Lucy L.

“RE is the epitome of a hidden gem – what a great little spot! The sign out front says it all – you never know what you’re going to find inside. Whether you’re scoping out random treasurers or searching for DIY/art/craft supplies, RE is the place to go. I did not necessarily need anything but walked out with $20 of unique photos. I am not the craftiest person but am suddenly inspired to tackle Pinterest projects. Also, I love that they accept credit cards – and have only a $5 minimum. There is plenty of street parking, and everything is very reasonably priced.” – Morgan C.

“Top notch organization makes thrift shopping a pleasure. Friendly employees and a great selection are also found here. The bagged items aren’t always to my liking because I want some things but not all that’s in the bag. Found three balls of high-end yarn in three separate bags, which I would’ve bought if they were all together. Still, we found treasures and will return.” – Liz K.
