Lost-N-Found Youth- Thrift Store

second hand Stores in Atlanta

Lost-N-Found Youth is the result of the Atlanta Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence’s Saint Lost and Found LGBTQ homeless youth fund project. A group of activists led by Rick Westbrook founded Lost-n-Found. When they were turned down when trying to place LGBT adolescents in local shelters and youth help organizations, they decided that something had to be done to meet the immediate demand.

That’s when the thrift store was created. The proceeds from the sale of the products will go toward street outreach, a youth center, and transitional housing for LGBTQ youth who are homeless. To support their self-sustaining approach to end LGBTQ youth homelessness in Atlanta, they accept new and used things from the community.

REVIEWS:

“Absolutely love this thrift shop! Wish they were closer to the south side, but they’re worth the drive. Store is really clean and they have spacious fitting rooms. There is a large selection of clothing and you can find some really great stuff in excellent condition. Even the non-clothing stuff is worth checking out. I once kitted out an AirBnB space purely with items found in the Housewares section. Hoping I can get back out there soon to pop some tags.” – John Adams

“The employees were very friendly and the store has an okay selection of items. However, because the prices are so high you’d do better to buy new. Example, 2 pairs of used vans that were over $60.” –  Faith Brown
