Donald Triolo applied to several podiatric medical schools and found the best fit to be in Chicago. He and his wife left the comfort and security of family, friends and jobs in New Jersey and set out for the Illinois College of Podiatric Medicine in Chicago (now known as the School College of Podiatric Medicine at Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science). Podiatry school was everything that he had hoped for and although working harder than he ever had before in school, he and his wife enjoyed their time in Chicago. Upon graduating with honors, he applied for several surgical residency programs, including one in San Diego. He was accepted into several programs, but the decision wasn’t hard after visiting San Diego from Chicago in mid-December. His residency training was very extensive; he worked with many local podiatric surgeons and during that year he participated in many surgical cases.

“The best experience ever. Was in terrible pain from ingrown hitting nerve. Dr Triolo is the best and most experienced podiatrist I have ever been too. That was 6 months ago. He became my regular Doctor and has since done several procedures to improve nail, ligament, and other issues to greatly improve my quality of life. I appreciate him very much.” – Woodrow Butch Faust
“Dr. Triolo has been my Podiatrist for more than ten years. He was recommended by my Cardiologist, Dr. Steven Van Camp. From the very beginning he assessed the problem related to my feet. He has also performed surgery on my right foot years later in an “outpatient basis at Sharp. The following year my wife experienced a broken foot. Dr. Triolo diagnosed and took excellent of her. I have experienced over the years a doctor that really cares for me as his patient. He is cautious, caring, kind and really talented as a Dr. I have the utmost respect and trust in his judgement relative to the care of my wife and my well being. I do not believe that you will experience a more capable and caring staff. Stacey and Nicole are the best!” – Harry Hale
