GoreMade Pizza
GoreMade Pizza is determined to both with a deep-rooted passion that goes back over a decade. It all started with pizza Sunday. Friends would drop in and pizzas would be provided. Being broke and still wanting to accommodate the masses, they began asking people to bring toppings. This set the stage for an ever-changing array of toppings. With the acquisition of a mobile wood-fired oven, the stage was further set for a pizza catering business.
They also sold pizza at local farmer’s markets, which is how they forged their relationships with the farm community at large. After about five years of running a wood-fired pizza catering company out of a Subaru, they finally found a home in Italian Village. Come watch them grow with their amazing and ever-changing neighborhood community and taste the local bounty discovered after years of slinging pies and bare-foot farmer’s market exploration.

Tommy’s Pizza
Tommy’s Pizza keeps the tradition started by Tommy in 1952. They are the second oldest pizza restaurant in the city with over 60 years of serving Central Ohio. Today they are looking to the future and will continue to make the best pizza in Columbus. Thomas Iacono, the creator of Tommy’s Pizza, was a foreign-born American whose family immigrated from Italy. He was raised in New York City before moving to central Ohio.
In 1952, Tommy starts his first restaurant here in Columbus on Fifth Ave near Cassidy Ave. He opened up a second location in Upper Arlington off Lane Ave In 1963. In the beginning, the Upper Arlington site was just a small stand at the nearby road and after a couple of years, he opened the store that stands there today. Offering a full menu they were first known as simply Tommy’s restaurant. The name altered once the pizza business started to take off.
