Dr. Erika Landau was born and educated in Romania with a BA in Fine Arts. She completed her medical education and Pediatric training at The Albert Einstein College of Medicine. Dr. Landau also completed a research fellowship at the Rockefeller University. After serving as Director of Foster Care at The Children’s Aid Society, she started her private practice in 1999. Dr. Landau is an Assistant Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at The Mount Sinai medical center and is on faculty at the Mount Sinai School of Medicine. Dr. Landau’s medical interests include child abuse, violence, clinical research and chronic illness. She has lectured, as well as published articles, both nationally and internationally on these topics. Dr. Landau is also the co author of the book: “The Essential Guide to Baby’s First Year” published by Penguin.
