Dr. Somer Curtis joined Pediatricians of Dallas in August 2001 after completing her pediatric internship and residency at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas and Parkland Memorial Hospital. Prior to that she attended medical school at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center at Dallas, graduating in 1998.
A native of Dallas, Dr. Curtis attended Good Shepherd Episcopal School and Ursuline Academy. Her undergraduate degree in Biology is from Texas A&M University.
Dr. Curtis has traveled extensively throughout the developing world. Her interest and additional training in tropical medicine and international health have allowed her to study, teach, and practice medicine in Europe, Asia, Africa, South America, and beyond. She has traveled extensively with Buckner Orphan Care International and serves on the board of the Bishop Masereka Christian Foundation in Uganda, both of which address the challenges of orphan care.
Other interests and hobbies that Dr. Curtis enjoys include her farm near Cedar Creek Lake, photography, swimming, reading, and community service.

Dr. Christina Bourland grew up in Huntsville, Alabama and graduated from the University of the South with a degree in American Studies. She received her MD from the University of Alabama School of Medicine and completed her pediatric residency at Children’s Medical Center of Dallas in 2006. Prior to joining PAD, she practiced for 8 years as a pediatric hospitalist at Children’s Medical Center, caring for children with a wide variety of medical conditions and working with medical students and residents discovering the joys of pediatrics. She is passionate about promoting the health of individuals and the health of our collective community.
Dr. Bourland is married to a wonderful guy and has two spunky daughters and one loving son who are all growing up much too quickly. When she isn’t trying to keep up with her three children, she enjoys gardening, needlepoint, reading and volunteering locally.

Dr. Donza Rogers is a Board-Certified Pediatrician who is originally from Savannah, Georgia. She received her Bachelor of Science in Biology from Emory University and her Medical Degree from Michigan State University College of Human Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency at the University of Texas at Houston.
After the completion of her residency, Dr. Rogers relocated to Dallas and joined the faculty of the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center/Children’s Medical Center as an Assistant Professor of Pediatrics. While at Children’s Medical Center she worked primarily as a Pediatric Hospitalist but also served as an attending on the teaching wards and in the medical student clinic. In addition to working as a hospitalist at Children’s, Dr. Rogers worked briefly as a private hospitalist with Drake Hospitalists, P.A. As a private hospitalist, she provided inpatient care to patients at Children’s Medical Center, Medical City Children’s Hospital, and Lake Pointe Medical Center.
After working several years as a hospitalist, Dr. Rogers moved into the private sector of pediatrics and joined Kessler Pediatrics. She has a passion for pediatrics and providing quality care to her patients. She strongly believes that education and prevention are the strongest determinants to healthy kids. Dr. Rogers has been featured on Children’s Health Check on NBC 5 and in Parents magazine providing helpful tips for parents.

Dr. R. Adrian Clarke was born and raised in New York City. His family is originally from Barbados, West Indies. He graduated from Princeton University cum laude in 1994, where he majored in History while completing his pre-med requirements. In 1999, he graduated from Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, Missouri with an M.D. and an M.A. in Biomedical Sciences. He completed his pediatric residency training at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston in 2002.
Dr. Clarke has been board certified as a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics since 2002. From 2002 through 2013, he practiced in the Houston area, first in Katy at Texas Children’s Pediatrics, then in Memorial at Blue Fish Pediatrics.
