From walking into the lovely reception area, where there are great toys and games for all ages (including a great train table which my son could have played with all day), to the informative and fun intro and info session to show son and daughter (5 and 7) how to brush and floss correctly. We have been to a couple of other Pediatric Dentists and this Practice is in a league of its own. Dr. Phil Wolkstein was born and grew up in Newark, New Jersey. He attended Rutgers, the State University of New Jersey where he received my bachelor’s degree in science. He then received his dental degree from the University of Pennsylvania in 1970. After dental school, he attended a two year residency program in Pediatric Dentistry at the University of Maryland School of Dentistry. After moving to California in 1972, he became an associate professor at the University of California School of Dentistry at San Francisco for two years. In September 1974, he opened his private pediatric dental practice at which he still works full time.
