Dr. Alec Goldenberg – Founding Physician of Manhattan Hematology Oncology Associates (MHOA), graduated Magna Cum Laude from Brandeis University with High Honors in Mathematics, before receiving his MD from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in 1980. He completed his internship and residency at Bellevue-New York University Hospitals, where he was also Chief Resident. Prior to joining Brooklyn Radiation Oncology, Dr. Bayshtok served as Medical Director of Community Radiation Oncology also located in Brooklyn. Dr. Bayshtok has more than fifteen years of radiation oncology experience. Her areas of expertise include the treatment of breast, lung, prostate, colon, skin and gynecological cancers.
Dr. Bayshtok received her medical degree from the Medical School of LVOV, Ukraine, where she graduated magna cum laude. Dr. Bayshtok served her residency in radiation oncology at Montefiore Medical Center and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine. She completed her fellowship at the Medical College of Pennsylvania, where she was subsequently appointed Assistant Professor of Radiation Oncology and was placed in charge of the breast cancer treatment program. Dr. John H. Healey is an opaedic surgeon who specializes in caring for people with sarcomas and noncancerous tumors of the bones and soft tissue. He has particular expertise in removing tumors while preserving limbs. He also has a special interest in treating children who have bone cancers, such as osteosarcoma and Ewing sarcoma.
