“Very tasty takeout! This was my first time trying Nepali food. I’m usually a fan of Chicken Tikka Masala at Indian restaurants, so I tried the Kukhurako Ledo (Chicken Cashew Cream Curry) which looked similar, and it was very delicious. Getting the combo was an excellent deal – it’s not that much more expensive, and it was nice to have the additional lentil soup, etc to share. Will be back! A tip for leftovers: definitely recommend heating up on the stove vs the microwave if you can.” – Kelly L.

“Consistently good service and delicious food. Base camp has something to offer everybody, but definitely get the fried chicken; it’s so flavorful and though deep fried, it isn’t soaked in grease. All the other food items that we’ve tried have been really good too. They have both indoor and outdoor dining options (with heaters), and the seating indoors certainly passes social distancing guidelines. Shout out to the folks that run Base Camp, and Amol who served us the last time. Will definitely be back again, and probably sooner rather than later :)” – Vivek N.

“This restaurant is one of my favorite places in San Francisco. It’s super tasty clean, healthy and the portions are good too. Not to mention the service is very polite and if you go there often they’ll remember you. I order so often I tend to get take out but when I have time to dine in I thoroughly enjoy the ambiance and my experience. It really sucks that this place has been closed ever since the beginning of the pandemic. I cannot wait until it is operating again.” – Alfie C.

“Delicious! The Momos are incredible. I have not tried anything else from there since the momos are so good I cannot bring myself to order anything else- although I am sure it is of similar quality. Delivery was very quick via GrubHub. They packed the frozen momos in ice so they stayed cold. I highly recommend this spot.” – Amy B.
