Snack Taverna isn’t really a hole-in-the-wall diner, but it’s also not big. This meek West-Village spot has a very loyal clientele and arguably one of the best Greek salad available. Their kitchen whips up an array of a bold-flavored mix of home-style, traditional, and modern Greek cuisine on a daily basis. They also have an amazing collection of Greek wine starting at around $8 which is perfect for that first date.
