We had a great meal, greatly suggested wines. The host was attentive and knowledgeable and the food was outstanding. Also, this has to be one of the best outdoor seating spots in NYC. Get the lobster pasta and the spicy feta and zucchini chips, A+. – Stephanie Urbaetis
Snack Taverna isn’t really a hole-in-the-wall diner, but it’s also not big. This meek West-Village spot has a very loyal clientele and arguably one of the best Greek salad available. Their kitchen whips up an array of a bold-flavored mix of home-style, traditional, and modern Greek cuisine on a daily basis. They also have an amazing collection of Greek wine starting at around $8 which is perfect for that first date.
