I recently downloaded the Gradito app and had the pleasure of experiencing working with a private chef and sommelier for the first time and I can honestly say it was one of the most exceptional culinary experiences I have ever had. From start to finish, everything was perfectly executed and exceeded all of my expectations.
I was able to organize the experience within five minutes using the app – and the chef himself was able to assure me that he could accommodate my husband’s celiac condition, carefully – before making my purchase.
We chose the chef’s elevated, five-course Spanish menu. Will was incredibly skilled and creative, and it was clear that every dish was thoughtfully prepared with the freshest and highest quality ingredients from Union Square. The flavors were outstanding and each dish was presented beautifully. It was a true feast for the senses.
Not only was the food itself exceptional, but the chef’s professionalism and attention to detail truly made the experience unforgettable. The entire process was seamless and stress-free, and the chef was able to accommodate all of my dietary restrictions with ease.
Mauro, our sommelier, provided a wealth of information and insights about each wine we tried, from the region and grape varietal to the production methods and tasting notes. He was able to answer all of our questions with ease and enthusiasm, and their expertise added a whole new dimension to the dining experience.
From the moment the sommelier arrived, it was clear that he was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about wine. He worked closely with me to understand my preferences and tastes, and then carefully selected a range of wines that perfectly complemented the food we had planned for the evening.
Perhaps most impressively, Mauro, our sommelier was able to strike the perfect balance between being informative and engaging, without ever being overbearing or intrusive. They seamlessly integrated into the evening, adding to the overall enjoyment of the experience without ever taking center stage.
Overall, I cannot recommend Gradito highly enough. It is truly a luxury that was comparable in price to a night going out. If you are looking for an exceptional culinary experience that will leave you feeling pampered and satisfied, look no further than this private chef service.
