Dr. Jayaprakash is a renowned Ayurvedic doctor who was literally born into the field. Coming out of a family with nine generations of traditional healers, Dr. Jayaprakash was bound to enter the field of Ayurvedic medicine. From a young age, Jayaprakash was taught by another renowned master healer: Dr. Bahuelyan, his father. Being coached in these healing arts from young allowed him to make an introduction into this world, and start developing and refining his skills from a very young age. Entering adulthood, Jayaprakash furthered his skills and development, and had an idea to bring the concepts to further regions than his home in Kerala. His concepts have been spread and accepted across many different geographic locations in India and even overseas! His works extend beyond his immediate practices, and he has published a guide ‘The Doctor’s Vest Book of Indian Medicine’ which is considered to be the gold standard in modern day Ayurvedic medicine and practise.
Throughout his life, his work has helped to provide relief and even cure many diseases which seemed incurable, and through Ayurvedic medicine, he has helped to change many lives. Jayaprakash believes strongly in many approaches of tribal medicine, diet and lifestyle, and believes the Indian people would benefit greatly from learning more about their own roots. He founded the ‘Centre for Development of Indian Medicine’ which aims to further the study and research in the field of aboriginal medicine and provide free medicinal support to Indigenous peoples and other tribes living in certain regions of India.
Widely regarded as the best Ayurvedic doctor in India, Dr. Jayaprakash is a skilled practitioner in these healing arts.
