At Intermountain Counseling, we view it as significant when people consider therapy because of the openness of sharing of their stories and the decision to pursuit of the life they want. Therefore, Intermountain Counseling offers free consultations so that we can better understand how we how to come alongside people or their loved ones, make sure we are the right fit, and tailor our therapy to be as useful as possible to our clients.

Located in north Colorado Springs, Intermountain Counseling provides therapy for teenagers, adults, and couples. We specialize in therapy for anxiety, depression, anger management, stress and burnout, and trauma. There isn’t any single approach that is always right for every client, situation, or issue, so we look at each unique situation and use the modality most helpful for it; nothing is cookie-cutter in how we help our clients. In every approach, we only use evidenced-based modalities that we know are well researched and effective in helping clients. We want to do our very best for every client that we work with, and we would be more than happy to talk about how we could come alongside you or your loved one. Working together, you can find groundedness again.

Intermountain Counseling was founded as a private practice by Rob Carlson, MA, LPC, EMDR, ACS. In more recent years, the practice expanded into a group and is now a team of therapists whose vision is to create an interdependent and flourishing community by helping people learn, adapt, and grow into healthier ways of being.
