Dr. Introcaso sees adult and pediatric patients at PCD, and has a special interest in preventive dermatology services and infectious diseases. She completed her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania, where she graduated in the top 5% of her class. Originally from the South Jersey suburbs, she received her Bachelor of Arts degree from Saint Joseph’s University in Philadelphia. Following medical school, Dr. Introcaso completed medical internship and dermatology residency at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, where she served as chief resident. Her training included an additional fellowship year in cutaneous oncology, focusing on skin lymphoma and melanoma.
In addition to her general dermatology practice, Dr. Introcaso has expertise in global health, tropical dermatology, infectious diseases affecting the skin, and dermatologic education. She completed a Diploma Course in Tropical Medicine at the Gorgas Memorial Institute in Peru and received the American Society of Tropical Medicine’s Certificate of Knowledge in Clinical Tropical Medicine and Traveler’s Health. She completed two years of advanced public health training and outbreak response at the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention focusing on sexually transmitted infections. During this time she served as a Lieutenant Commander in the United States Public Health Service Commissioned Corps. Beyond her experience in the United States, she has provided dermatology service and education in Africa, Asia, and South America.
Dr. Introcaso has spent considerable time doing research and writing in the field of dermatology, and she has authored and coauthored more than 30 peer-reviewed articles as well as multiple book chapters. Her research interests have focused on infectious disease and the skin and on developing sustainable dermatologic care. She has been an invited lecturer at the American Academy of Dermatology’s Annual Meeting from 2011 to 2017, and she designed and directed the Volunteers Abroad courses presented at the meeting from 2012 to 2014.

Dr. Abraham is a board-certified dermatologist and one of Philadelphia’s most senior Mohs Surgeons. After attaining his undergraduate degree at Temple University, Dr. Abraham attended Jefferson Medical College.
He completed his internship at Thomas Jefferson University and his dermatology training at the Temple University Skin and Cancer Hospital. Dr. Abraham is a fellow of the American Society for Mohs Surgery.
Dr. Abraham maintains the highest levels of accreditation and pursues ongoing education to stay abreast of the latest trends in dermatology. He provides a full range of dermatologic care with a special interest in skin cancer screening/treatment and treatment of psoriasis using various modalities including phototherapy and various new biologic therapies. Dr. Parish attended the University of Michigan and graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with an A.B. degree. He received his M.D. degree from Tufts University School of Medicine in Boston in 1963.
He interned at the Philadelphia General Hospital and completed his dermatology training at the University of Pennsylvania. Dr. Parish served in the army for two years (121 Evacuation Hospital, Korea and Walson Army Hospital, Fort Dix, NJ). After leaving the army, he entered the private practice of dermatology in Philadelphia in 1969.
He is currently Clinical Professor of Dermatology and Cutaneous Biology at Sidney Kimmel Medical College at Thomas Jefferson University in Philadelphia. He holds visiting professorships at Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, Yonsei University College of Medicine in Seoul, Korea, and Zagazig University Faculty of Medicine in Egypt. He has been awarded the degree of Doctor of Medicine (Honoris Causa) by the Sofia University Faculty of Medicine.
He is author of over 500 papers and is the Editor-in-Chief of Clinics in Dermatology and SKINmed: Dermatology for the Practitioner.

Dr. Deirdre Wood received her medical degree from Hahnemann University/Medical College of Pennsylvania in 1996. She continued with an internship in International Medicine at both the Medical College of Pennsylvania Hospital and the Philadelphia Veteran’s Administration. Afterward, she began a Dermatology Residency at Hahnemann. She completed four additional years of training including a specialty fellowship in cutaneous lymphomas. She was Chief Resident during her final year.
She then joined the faculty at Drexel University as Assistant Clinical Professor where she taught residents and started the cosmetic dermatology program. In 2003, she began her private practice in Northeast Philadelphia where she continues to practice today. She has special interests in skin cancer and cosmetic dermatology but enjoys all aspects of her field, especially the patients!
