Hapa Yoga has been conceptualized and eventually built in September of 2012 in San Diego California. Tina Knight, the founder is a yoga practitioner herself. Having suffered from Post-Partum Anxiety, Tina was stuck in a situation where she needs constant support while not neglecting her son.
That was the turning point that led her to establish the on-site childcare at Hapa. It is a distinct edge of the studio with other yoga centers. Mom’s can focus on their mat without worrying about their children.
