Phuc Yea
Phuc Yea was unlocked in downtown Miami as the city’s original pop-up notion in 2011. Zapata and Meinhold’s vision of Vietnamese food is strongly inspired by family recipes as well as the flavors of the Mekong, but mixed with their personal experiences and culinary skills, and is fueled by old-school hip hop, graffiti, and a love for life. The meal has a distinct ‘their’ flavor profile, with vivid, strong, and rich flavors. This is not your typical Vietnamese restaurant; it is half Cajun, half Vietnamese.

Benh Mi is a Vietnamese-inspired diner, placed in the core of South Beach. After the French were vanquished in 1954, the Vietnamese invented this sandwich. The Vietnamese cleverly adapted French recipes by swapping local components, such as butter for mayonnaise and cold meats for fresh and pickled veggies, all served on a French baguette.
