Tropical Restaurant & Bar is a family-friendly Thai restaurant that serves farm-fresh seafood. For the past 30 years, the Karnchanakphan family has claimed Tulsa as their home. More than ten years ago, they opened the Lanna Thai Restaurant at 51st and Harvard. The restaurant expanded and gained notoriety over time in Tulsa. At 72nd and Memorial, a second store was established to offer Tulsa’s residents wonderful Thai food from a Tulsa Thai family. Two years later, the Karnchanakphan family opened The Tropical Restaurant & Bar with newfound vigor.
